How do I register my child?
Follow the link below to enter your child's information and select the correct program and class time.
Where does my child's class take place?
Class will take place in the designated play area assigned by the school your child attends. Classes are typically held on a grassy area, playground our open inside area.
What will my student be learning?
Each program offers a different curriculum and learning objectives. Check out the program you are interested in using the menu tab labeled "Our Programs" for more information.
What happens if class is cancelled?
We will schedule a make-up class! Typically, the only reason class is missed is due to unsafe driving conditions, a natural disaster or a sickness.
What happens if my child misses class?
Our monthly fee includes 4 classes per month that are scheduled at the same time and day each week. If you are aware that you will be missing one or more classes due to vacation or other conflict, please contact us before the 1st of the month so we can pro-rate accordingly. Currently, we do not have any private make-up options for children who miss class due to sickness or last-minute changes.
Do you pro-rate?
We can pro-rate for medical or travel plans. We recommend that if your child will miss more than 3 of the scheduled class dates to wait to register till the next month or session. If you register in the middle of the month, you will only pay for the classes you attend.
What happens if the class I want to register my child for is full?
We will start a waitlist; it is very common for our classes to fill up quickly, and we work on a first signed up, first enrolled basis. We will be sure to contact you if a spot becomes available!
Why does my child have stamps on their hands?
At the end of every class, each student will receive two Portlandroo stamps. Children earn these stamps by listening to the coach and following directions. If for any reason, you would like your child to be excluded from recieving stamps, please contact us.
How do I remove my child from class?
You can remove your child from classes via the jackrabbit portal or contact us with the name of your child and the school they attend. Be sure to make any cancellations before the 1st of the month. This way, we can remove your student before the next billing cycle.
What form of payment do you accept?
The Portlandroos Company is environmentally friendly and has gone paperless. We accept online payments through our registration portal.
Do you offer any after school or weekend classes?
We only offer in school classes right now but we are hoping to run seasonal camps and out of school programs soon!
