STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Educating children on these four fields offers many benefits to young learners. Each discipline teaches different skill sets that build a strong foundation for future literacy.
The science portion of our STEM program helps children develop key life skills, become more organized, and collect individual observations about the world around them.
Using age-friendly technology, our students are able to jumpstart their understanding of digital literacy. We also use off-screen technology like copying and building to promote active play.
Teaching engineering to our students creates challenges that are exciting to overcome. Finding ways to construct things better improves problem solving skills.
Learning math skills at a young age aids in logical reasoning. This portion of our program promotes healthy brain function through critical and spatial thinking.
Our STEM classes for children ages 3-6 years are designed to engage students with interactive, age-appropriate explorations and experiments. We introduce simple science concepts like magnetism so your child can start learning about the world around them. While many families perceive STEM as an indoor, technological program, there is a large portion of nature exploration as well. We encourage our children to observe things like plants, animals, and weather.
