About us
The Portlandroos Company was founded by two sisters in the greater Seattle area who have always had a passion for early childhood education. From playing soccer since they could walk to developing a love for teaching Drama, they decided to create a company that offers multiple enrichment programs so they could share their joy for teaching with the community. Once they offered classes to local schools, montessori's and academies, the company flourished and started to grow. Since starting, they have had the opportunity to partner with hundreds of schools across the state of Washington. Eventually, their teaching led them to Portland, Oregon where The Portlandroos Company was formed!

Our mission at The Portlandroos Company is to hold the highest standards in creating a sustainable, educational, and enjoyable environment for our youth enrichment students through inventive thinking. We pride ourselves on the development of children’s gross motor skills and ability to express themselves in an enduring atmosphere.

Fun Fact!
Meet Joey, our mascot! Our baby kangaroo was inspired by our company's founders whose high school mascot was a kangaroo. Joey learns with our students in each class and is pictured on our gear (he attends imaginatively, of course!).
